The Admissions Coordinator handles the admission and discharge of residents at Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre. An important function is to ensure the smooth integration of the resident into the Sunnyside family. The transfer of the resident from their own home to Sunnyside can be stressful to them and their families. I am here to help with this process and to provide counseling and comfort as necessary.

Ongoing education for our staff is an important part of providing quality care for our residents. The Education Coordinator ensures that all staff have the education required by the health region. Other training is provided in order to address the resident care needs that are specific to Long-Term Care.
The Education Coordinator is also involved in co-chairing the OH&S Committee, and planning and executing fire drills.
