The Laundry department is responsible for washing the linens for Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre. They also wash and make minor repairs to residents' clothing. The work of the laundry department contributes to the well being and self esteem of the residents by insuring that their personal clothing is clean and in good repair. Other departments rely on their services for clean sheets, towels and aprons so they can adequately fulfill their roles in resident care.
